WVU Band Sugar Bowl Trip Blog. Tuesday, January 03, 2006. The band left Atlanta at 8 am Tuesday morning to head home. We stopped in North Carolina for lunch and then arrived in Beckley around 6 pm. The Beckley stop was to drop off those who we had been picked-up on the way down as well as a dinner break. After arriving in Morgantown the members had to turn in their uniforms and any equipment rented from the Band. It was a great trip especially bringing home a win.
